Greetings.
While I highly doubt anyone will ever truly read this, or much less pay it much attention, I do feel that everything needs an introduction. That is especially true for things that may be called "different", "unusual" or just generally for things that tend to be easily misunderstood. The contents of this blog will most likely fall on the latter. As such, I feel that an introduction is essential, even if I end up writing for myself only.
Stands to reason that the first thing I should clarify pertains to the future contents of this blog. Well, it is a bit hard to delineate the contents clearly. I myself, wouldn't want to limit this by clearly defining it so forgive me if I sound too vague. What I intend to write in this blog are fictional stories created by me. I hope I can make them entertaining and especially easy to read. Before going any further let me clearly state a few things about what these stories will NOT have or be: masterful pieces of literature (I only intend to make them entertaining, while keeping them accessible to anyone); award-winning shorts displaying a flawless use of the English language; any kind of fan fiction.
Like the title suggests, these are the "unpublishable" stories. Stories that belong nowhere else but on the Internet. Stories you should not pay for. But also stories that connect with the current generation. Stories that strive to entertain in any given way without focusing too much on literary style or value. Basically, not intellectual stories but hopefully stories you can have fun with. More than this I really can't say.
I don't want to write that long of an introduction, so I'll conclude by talking about my goals with this blog. First and foremost it would be to just have fun writing stories I'd like to read. I feel like there's a lack of this type of fiction on the Internet and that's a bit of a pity. Then the real objective is to improve my English. You may have already noticed by the way I write, but English is not my native or second language. After I got into college, I stopped having English classes and I'm afraid I may be getting rusty, so I think this is the perfect way to brush up a bit.
One more thing, I will always write towards an invisible audience. This does not mean I believe this will be read by others, it's just easier to do things this way. Kind of like how some people create an imaginary reader when writing the diary, even though they wouldn't want it read by anyone else.
Well, that's all for now. Whatever it is that this blog becomes from now on, it all begins from here. And I just noticed I've been sounding way too serious. Might be because I'm sleepy, so I'll revise this later on. 'Till then.
